Most cars will have one or two drive belts that operate various components around the vehicle, such as the power steering pump and the air conditioning (AC) system. These belts require a pulley that is fixed to the engine to rotate and deliver power to the necessary parts. It is not uncommon for these wheels to wear down over time, along with the rubber belts, so proper maintenance is important in every vehicle to ensure the functionality of the engine and the parts that rely on it. If a pulley fails in your vehicle, rapid replacement is highly recommended to avoid any lasting damage.
